![]() ![]() Much like how SimCity used urban planning strategies, SimEarth uses Gaia Theory as the basis for its simulation aspects, adding some light educational elements to the planet sandbox game. Players can let life play out on its own, or they can interfere by adjusting the planet's climate, atmosphere, weather and environment. ![]() Players take on more of an observer role in SimEarth as they watch the lifespan of a planet, from creation to its eventual destruction. SimuEarth not intend to be a remake in the sense of copy all features of SimEarth, but many of the concepts of it will be present in my game. If that premise sounds familiar, that's because it would be greatly expanded upon with Maxis's underrated 2008 game Spore. Simearth remake Simearth remake Pc Wind Waker on Wii U really manages to shine thanks to the graphical updates to the lighting, shadows, higher quality models, and shading, so imagine Mario Sunshine getting the same treatment. Players went from managing a metropolis to managing the life of an entire planet and the evolution of the creatures living on it. So I tried to do 3D planet simulator, but probably without life evolution (because true calculation for life evolution is extremely CPU-expensive and predeterminated evolution like in Simearth is not cool). SimCity's lesser-known follow-up, SimEarth took everything enjoyable about SimCity and put it on a grander scale. I googled it and didn't find any ready remakes for Simearth-like games/models (not counting arcades like Spore).
